How to use
Paste or type your content into the text area and click 'Analyze'. The tool counts every 1-, 2-, and 3-word phrase, calculates their density, and displays the top results sorted by frequency. Use the tabs to switch between phrase lengths.
Why use this tool
Keyword density analysis helps you identify whether target keywords appear at a natural frequency and spot over-optimised (keyword-stuffed) content before publishing. All processing is done locally — your content is never sent to a server.
FAQ
- What is keyword density?
- Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears relative to the total word count. Formula: (keyword occurrences / total words) × 100.
- What is the ideal keyword density?
- There is no fixed ideal. A density of 1–2% is commonly cited as natural, but modern search engines like Google focus on topical relevance and user intent rather than raw density. Avoid stuffing.
- Are stop words removed?
- Yes. Common stop words (a, the, is, in, etc.) are filtered out by default when analysing multi-word phrases, so the results focus on meaningful terms.
