Netlify ran the same coffee-shop prompt through 11 frontier models using its open-sourced AXIS framework. Credit spend ranged from 2.4 to 519 — and the price tag turned out to be the least interesting part.
Encrypted reasoning blocks from closed-source LLMs can be replayed across models — feed Opus's encrypted thinking to Haiku and it transcribes verbatim. Researchers scanned 6,708 public agent traces and pulled 62 real API keys and 33 passwords.
